Tournament Format A single elimination tournament will be held to determine the winner. All matches will be played on Backgammon Galaxy.
Match Format for all matches 7 point matches Clock: Normal setting JBS rating will be applied for matches between JBS members.
Please make your entry from the entry reception page by 8:00 p.m. on the day of the tournament. If your entry is successfully completed, your name will be displayed on the “List of Contestants” page. Non-JBS members (visitors) need to register as a visitor in advance.
Non-JBS members (visitors) may compete by registering in advance. Anonymous entries are also accepted. Please fill out the form below and send it to us. After the registration is completed, we will contact you. Please note that if you apply for registration on the day of the tournament, you may not be able to participate in time for the tournament. We would appreciate it if you could contact us at least one day in advance if you wish to participate in the tournament.

Eligibility Players who meet all of the following conditions are eligible to compete.
Born on or after January 1, 1999.
Must participate in the Japan Open after winning the tournament. You do not need to be a JBS member.
Entry fee 1,000 yen
Prize Winner 30,000 yen
Others There is no limit to the number of entrants. If the number of entrants is other than a power of two, a BYE will be charged. It is possible to participate in both the 1st and 2nd tournaments , but the winner of the 1st tournament cannot participate in the 2nd one. All entry fees will be used to cover administrative costs. Prize money is sponsored by Mr. Morgan Simpson. Prize will be handed over at the venue of the Japan Open.
